: تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى التأصيل النظري والتطبيقي لتوظيف الأنطولوجيات، بافتراض أنها إحدى وسائل تمثيل المعرفة داخل تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي، بغرض تحقيق نتائج استرجاعية أكثر كفاءة وفعالية؛ لإدراك طبيعة المعلومات المسترجعة، ومحاولة رصد الدور الذي تلعبه نظم تمثيل المعرفة، لا سيما الأنطولوجيات المخصصة لدعم تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي في تكشيف المحتوى، فضلًا عن التحقق من دور الأنطولوجيا والمكتسبات، التي تحققها في إطار توظيفها داخل نظم معالجة اللغة الطبيعية NLP. وفي هذا الصدد، شَيد الباحث أنطولوجيا في مجال التربية من خلال برنامج IBM Watson Knowledge Studio (WKS)، وتضمينها داخل تقنية IBM Watson Natural Language Understanding (NLU)، والكشف عن قدرتها في تحقيق فاعلية في عملية الاسترجاع. واعتمدت الدراسة على منهجين، أولهما: المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وذلك لمراجعة الإنتاج الفكري الراجع والجاري لحصر المفاهيم المتعلقة بنظم تمثيل المعرفة وتطبيقات معالجة اللغة الطبيعية، وثانيهما: المنهج التجريبي، وذلك من خلال بناء أنطولوجيا وتضمينها داخل تقنية معالجة اللغة الطبيعية، والتحقق من فاعلية الاسترجاع لعدد من الوثائق اعتمادًا على برنامج Postman، وبشأن أدوات الدراسة، فقد اعتمدت الدراسة بشكلٍ رئيسٍ على مراجعة الإنتاج الفكري الراجع والجاري لحصر المفاهيم المتعلقة بنظم تمثيل المعرفة وارتباطها بتقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي؛ لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى جوانب الإفادة المتعددة من بناء الأنطولوجيات في (التعليم الإلكتروني، تطوير محركات البحث، دعم احتياجات ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، تنظيم الأرشيفات الجامعية)، فضلًا عن توظيف الأنطولوجيات في نظم استرجاع المعلومات اعتمادًا على تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي.

The study aimed to theoretically and practically ground the use of ontologies as a means of Knowledge Representation within artificial intelligence technologies to achieve more efficient and effective retrieval results, to understand the nature of the retrieved information, and to attempt to monitor the role played by knowledge representation systems. Ontologies help artificial intelligence technologies in content Indexing. They also validate the function of ontology and its accomplishments when used in natural language processing (NLP) systems. The researcher built an ontology in the field of education using the IBM Watson Knowledge Studio (WKS) and integrated it into the IBM Watson Natural Language Understanding (NLU) technology. the study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of the ontology in the retrieval process. The study relied on two approaches: firstly, the descriptive-analytical approach, to review the intellectual output related to knowledge representation systems and natural language processing applications, and secondly, the experimental approach Through building an ontology and integrating it into natural language processing technology is a solid foundation for assessing its impact Using Postman to verify the retrieval effectiveness of several documents. As for the study's tools, it primarily relied on reviewing existing literature to delineate the concepts related to knowledge representation systems and their connection to artificial intelligence technologies to achieve its objectives. The study discovered multiple benefits of building ontologies in e-learning, search engine development, supporting the needs of people with disabilities, organizing university archives, and utilizing ontologies in information retrieval systems based on artificial intelligence technologies.
