Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare Mill.) is one of the umbelliferous medicinal plants. It subjected to infection by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum (Lib.) de Bary, causing economic losses in plant stand and yield in Egypt. All isolates were isolated from fennel plants and were identified as Sclerotinia sclerotiorum. In pathogenicity tests isolate No.5 was the highest pathogenic one followed by isolate No.3
