Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Pharmacy - Department of Pharmacognosy
A preliminary phytochemical screening of the aerial parts of K. blossfeldiana poelin, and K. fedtschenkoi Raym.-Hamet and E.P. (Crassulaceae) growing in Egypt was carried out. Lipoidal contents were investigated in the n-hexane extractive. The phytochemical investigation of both plants led to the isolation of 11 compounds. One bufadienolide (5, 16-Dihydroxybufalin) was isolated from K. fedtschenkoi Raym-Hamet and E.P
