This study explores the gaps in the levels of reproductive health information and services utilization among adolescents and youth aged 15-25 years in Egypt. The main aim is to provide a conceptual framework for improving the utilization of these services based on the best practices and successful experiences of European countries.The current study reviews the main frameworks developed to address adolescents and youth reproductive health needs. It also reviews the translation of these frameworks into strategies, policies and approaches implemented to meet the sexual and reproductive health needs of adolescents and youth within the European context with a particular focus on the Turkish experience The current study addresses sexual and reproductive health needs of adolescents and youth in Egypt by examining the current situation of their practices and information. It reviews the main strategies and approaches implemented to meet the sexual and reproductive health needs of adolescents and youth within the Egyptian context as well as the main obstacles in their application from the perspective of the major stakeholders in this field. The current situation of two major programs addressing the reproductive health needs of adolescents and youth namely youth friendly clinics and reproductive health education in schools is also discussed. Finally, the study offers promising ideas for creating enabling environment to empower young people to realize their reproductive health which affects the utilization of adolescents and youth reproductive health policies and services
