The first part deals with the free corrosion of technical titanium and stainless steel 304L in aqueous artifical high saline media free or containing alga DUNALIELIA salina.Generally it was found that the corrosion rate decreases in media containing the alga DUNALIELIA salina up to 1x105 cell / ml
