هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع خدمات معلومات اتحاد المكتبات الجامعية المصرية، وقياس مدى إفادة أعضاء هيئة التدريس ومعاونيهم من مخرجات خدمات معلومات الاتحاد، ومعرفة دوافع أعضاء هيئة التدريس ومعاونيهم للإفادة من مخرجات خدمات معلومات الاتحاد، وأيضاً توضيح الصعوبات التي تواجه أعضاء هيئة التدريس ومعاونيهم بجامعة الزقازيق للإفادة من خدمات معلومات الاتحاد، ومقترحاتهم لتذليل تلك الصعوبات.
وقد أجريت الدراسة على عينة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس ومعاونيهم بجامعة الزقازيق قوامها(1218) عضواً هيئة تدريس ومعاوناً، اقتصرت الدراسة الحالية على عدد ست كليات فقط من جامعة الزقازيق، اعتمدت الدراسة الحالية على المنهج الميداني، تكونت الدراسة من مقدمة منهجية وأربعة فصول ومجموعة من الملاحق، كما توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها :كانت أغلب المشاركات في مجال العلوم الطبية من كليات الطب بنسبة مشاركة (80.8%)، وفي مجال العلوم البحتة والتطبيقية من كليات الهندسة بنسبة مشاركة (53.1%)، وفي مجال الإنسانيات والعلوم الاجتماعية من كليات الآداب بنسبة مشاركة (66.8%).
(Abstract) : The study aimed to identify the reality of the information services of the Egyptian University Libraries Consertium, measure the extent to which Faculty Staff Members and their Assistants benefit from the outputs of the Consertium’s information services, and know the motivations of Faculty Staff Members and their Assistants to benefit from the outputs of the Consertium’s information services, and also clarify the difficulties facing Faculty Staff Members and their Assistants at Zagazig University. To benefit from the Consertium’s information services and their proposals to overcome these difficulties .
The study was conducted on a sample of Faculty Staff Members and their Assistants at Zagazig University, consisting of (1218) Faculty Staff Members and their Assistants. The current study was limited to only six colleges from Zagazig University. The current study relied on the field approach. The study consisted of a methodological introduction, four chapters, and a set of appendices. The study also reached a set of results, the most important of which are: Most of the participations in the field of medical sciences were from colleges of medicine with a participation rate of (80.8%), in the field of pure and applied sciences were from colleges of engineering with a participation rate of (53.1%), and in the field of humanities and social sciences were from colleges of arts. Participation rate (66.8%).
