In this study, 145 different samples were randomly collected from
internal organs of pigeons and squabs, sold at different regions of
Cairo and Giza governorates. Samples were cultured for the isolation
of streptococci. Morphological, biochemical and molecular
identification of bacterial isolates revealed the isolation of
Streptococcus gallolyticus with total incidence of 11.72%. Regional
incidence differed among the sampling places with the rates of (2% in
El Marg, 9% in Ein shams, 8% in Nasr city, 17% in El Moneeb, 11%
in El Hawemdia and 12% in El Badrashin. Isolates were tested for
their antimicrobial sensitivity against the common antibacterial
therapeutics applied in the veterinary field. Conventional and
multiplex PCR assays were carried out on isolates’ DNA for
identification and detection of virulence and antibiotic resistance
genes. في هذه الدراسة ، تم جمع 145 عينة مختلفة بشكل عشوائي من
الأعضاء الداخلية للحمام والسكاب ، تباع في مناطق مختلفة من
محافظتا القاهرة والجيزة. تم زراعة العينات للعزل
من المكورات العقدية. الشكلية والكيميائية الحيوية والجزيئية
كشف تحديد العزلات البكتيرية عن عزل
المكورات العقدية gallolyticus بنسبة معدل حدوث إجمالي 11.72٪. اقليمي
اختلفت الحدوث بين أماكن أخذ العينات بمعدلات (2٪ في
المرج، 9٪ في عين شمس، 8٪ في مدينة نصر، 17٪ في المنيب، 11٪
في الحويمدية و 12٪ في البدرشين. تم اختبار العزلات للكشف عن
حساسيتها المضادة للميكروبات ضد مضاد البكتيريا الشائع
العلاجات المطبقة في المجال البيطري. التقليدية و
تم إجراء فحوصات تفاعل البوليميراز المتسلسل متعددة الإرسال على الحمض النووي للعزلات
تحديد وكشف الفوعة ومقاومة المضادات الحيوية
