يهدف البحث إلى تحقيق العديد من الأهداف المهمة، بما في ذلك معرفة أثر ممارسة الحوكمة على تحسين أداء مجالس إدارات الأندية الرياضية. تسلط الضوء على أهمية تطبيق مبدأ الإفصاح والشفافية في تحسين أداء هذه المجالس، بالإضافة إلى تسليط الضوء على دور مبدأ مسؤوليات مجلس الإدارة وتأثيره على تحسين الأداء. كما يستعرض البحث أيضاً دور التشريعات والقوانين المنظمة للعمل الرياضي في الدولة وكيفية تأثيرها على تحسين الأداء، بالإضافة إلى دور مبدأ المشاركة في اتخاذ القرارات ووضع السياسات العامة الرياضية.
أظهرت النتائج أن قوة ممارسة الحوكمة كانت مرتفعة في النوادي المدروسة، مما يشير إلى توافر عناصر مهمة مثل الإفصاح والشفافية والامتثال للقوانين والمسؤولية في هذه النوادي. وتبين أن أداء مجالس الإدارة كان مرتفعاً أيضاً، وخاصة في الأداء المالي، كما تبين وجود أثر ذو دلالة إحصائية لممارسة الحوكمة على أداء مجالس إدارات الأندية الرياضية في الكوادر القيادية والإدارية وأعضاء الجمعية العمومية بالنادي الأهلي والزمالك. وبناءً على هذه النتائج، تم تقديم مجموعة من التوصيات أهمها: توفير وسائل إضافية للأعضاء للوصول إلى معلومات مالية مفصلة بسهولة، وتدريب فريق العمل لضمان التعامل الإيجابي والمهني مع الشكاوى
The study aims to achieve several important objectives, including understanding the impact of governance practices on improving the performance of sports club boards. It highlights the significance of applying the principles of disclosure and transparency to enhance the performance of these boards, in addition to emphasizing the role of board responsibilities and their influence on performance. The study also explores the role of legislations and regulations governing sports in the country and how they affect performance, as well as the role of participation in decision-making and the development of sports public policies.
The results indicated that the strength of governance practices was high in the studied clubs, suggesting the presence of essential elements such as disclosure, transparency, legal compliance, and accountability in these clubs. Furthermore, the performance of the boards, especially in financial performance, was found to be high. The study also revealed a statistically significant impact of governance practices on the performance of sports club boards among leadership and administrative personnel, as well as members of the general assembly of Al-Ahly and Zamalek clubs. Based on these findings, a set of recommendations were provided, including the provision of additional means for members to easily access detailed financial information and the training of the workforce to ensure positive and professional handling of complaints
