We performed the study on 100 patients admitted with acute decompensated heart failure echocardiography & Pro BNP level were measured on admission & after 72 hrs. we found that there two parameters are stay independent predictors for mortality and we found that cut off value for both. إجريت الدراسة علي 100 مريض يعانون من قصور القلب اللا تعويضي الحاد كشفت النتائج انه بعد عمل التخطيط الصوتي للقلب وقياس نسبة ال Pro BNP انه يعكس قطر الوريد الاجوف السفلي ونسبة ال Pro BNP في الدم عند هؤلاء المريضي يوجد علاقة بين القياسات ومعدل حدوث الوفيات واعادة دخول المستشفي بفشل عضلة القلب
