flexor tendon injury is one of the most common hand injuries so many rehabilitation protocols had been developed to rehab those patients and one of the most effective protocols is Early active mobilization which helps fast and safe recovery. Objective:to reveal if early active mobilization helped reducing percentage of secondary interventions and yielded good functional outcomes. Subjects and methods :fifty two patients were selected from Qasr Alainy hospital out patient clinics and outpatient clinic at faculty of physical therapy, from January till April, those patients had their flexor tendon repair surgeries done around 3 months earlier to time of assessment and through this period they had their rehabilitation using the (early active mobilization protocol as was described in guidelines ).Patients were assessed if they had done any secondary interventions and their functional level was assessed using the Louisville system Results: Only 6 (11.5%) subjects had to do second intervention and 46 (88.5%) did not have to do any second intervention. The Louisville grading system revealed that 16 (30.8%) subjects had excellent, 24 (46.2%) were good, 8 (15.4%) fair and 4 (7.7%) had poor outcomes.Conclusion: Patients who followed an early active mobilization protocol after their hand flexor tendon repair experienced significant improvements in their functional activities and reduced the need for additional interventions. تعد إصابة الوتر القابض واحدة من أكثر إصابات اليد شيوعًا مما يؤدي إلى آثار مدمرة على حياة المرضى وعودتهم إلى أداء الوظائف الطبيعية، لذلك تم تطوير العديد من بروتوكولات إعادة التأهيل وممارستها لعلاج هؤلاء المرضى بعد الجراحة، حيث يعد أحد البروتوكولات فاعلية هو التحريك النشط المبكر والذي يساعد على التعافي السريع والآمن بعد الجراحة. وأجريت هذه الدراسة للكشف عما إذا كان التحريك النشط المبكر يساعد في تقليل نسبة التدخلات الثانوية وتؤدي إلى نتائج وظيفية أفضل لذلك تم اختيار اثنين وخمسين مريضاً من العيادات الخارجية بمستشفى قصر العيني والعيادة الخارجية بكلية العلاج الطبيعي، وقد أجرى هؤلاء المرضى عمليات جراحية لإصلاح الوتر القابض قبل حوالي ثلاثة أشهر من وقت التقييم وخلال هذه الفترة تم إعادة تأهيلهم باستخدام (بروتوكول التحريك النشط المبكر كما هو موضح في الإرشادات). وتم تقييم المرضى إذا كانوا قد قاموا أو خططوا للقيام بأي تدخلات ثانوية وتم تقييم مستواهم الوظيفي باستخدام نظام لويفيل وأسفرت الدراسة عن خضوع ستة مرضي بنسبة (11.5%) فقط من الأشخاص للتدخل الثانوي، في حين لم يجر ستة واربعون مريضا بنسبة (88.5%) أي تدخل ثانٍ وكشف نظام الدرجات في لويفيل أن ستة عشر بنسبة (30.8%) من المرضي كانت نتائجها ممتازة، أربعة وعشرون بنسبة (46.2%) كانت جيدة، وثمانية بنسبة (15.4%) كانت معتدلة، وأربعة بنسبة (7.7%) سيئة وقد أتضح ان المرضى الذين اتبعوا بروتوكول التحريك النشط المبكر بعد إصلاح وتر عضلات اليد تحسنوا تحسنات مهمة إحصائياً في أنشطتهم الوظيفية وقللوا من الحاجة إلى تدخلات إضافية.
