باتت الرياضة إحدى الالعاب التى فرضت نفسها على المجتمع الذى تغيرت نظرته إليها من مجرد ألعاب ترفيهية الى صناعة تُسهم فى الاقتصاد الوطنى ، وبلغ الأمر حد أعتبارها دبلوماسية شعبية اصطلح على تسميتها قوة ناعمة، كما تُعد الدبلوماسية الرياضية شكلا منظماً لإستخدام الرياضة فى السياسة ويتم استخدام الرياضيين كسفراء لبلادهم من خلال الاحداث الرياضية. وقد تأسست الأندية الرياضية بهدف ممارسة الرياضة أو الترفيه الاجتماعى للأعضاء إلا أن نشأتها فى مصر كانت مختلفة فكثير من الاندية الوطنية التى تأسست للدفاع عن الهوية الوطنية المصرية، ومكافحة الاحتلال الانجليزى آنذاك قبل ان تهتم بالرياضة، إذ كانت الأندية لا تقتصر على حدود اللعب فى الملاعب، وإنما تجاوزت ذلك لتكسب ادوارًا اجتماعية وسياسية. ومنذ نشأت الرياضة وهى مرتبطة بالقرار السياسى بشكل أو بأخر، فالسياسة هى التى أنشات الدورات الرياضية المختلفة، فالسياسية تحرك الرياضة كما حدث فى العديد من البطولات وكيف تسعى السياسة إلى الاستفادة من الجماهيرلان الرياضة هى قيمة حياتية ورؤية إنسانية وجدت من أجل خدمة السياسة وتحقيق ما يعكس تحررالبلد من الاحتلال Sports has become one of the games that imposed itself on society, whose view of it changed from mere recreational games to an industry that contributes to the national economy, and the matter reached the point of considering it popular diplomacy, which is commonly called soft power. Sports diplomacy is also an organized form of using sports in politics, and athletes are used as ambassadors for their countries through sporting events. Sports clubs were established with the aim of practicing sports or social entertainment for members, but their origins in Egypt were different, as many national clubs were established to defend the Egyptian national identity and combat the British occupation at that time before they cared about sports, as the clubs were not limited to playing in the stadiums, but rather went beyond that to gain social and political roles. Since the emergence of sports, it has been linked to political decision in one way or another. Politics is what created the various sports tournaments. Politics moves sports, as happened in many tournaments, and how politics seeks to benefit from the masses, because sports are a life value and a human vision that existed in order to serve politics and achieve what reflects the country's liberation from occupation.
