The objective of this thesis is to investigate and enhance the system performance of a homing guided missile via synthesizing its homing head using proposed classical and advanced control techniques. Thus, the thesis presents the derivation of missile 6DOF model augmented by a more realistic homing head. The design and analysis is carried out with the linearized models at pre-specified flight conditions
