Cpsittaci was isolated from (6267 in hundred) of 142 organs samplend (5555 in hundred) from fecal swabs of ducks in 7 - days old ECE , yolk sac routeCpsittaci inclusions were demonstrated in impression smears stained with Giemsa stain from 142 bird , the highest percent of infection was in lung (7323 in hundred) followed by liver then spleen and finally heartChlamydial antigen detected in 142 internal organs samples using CFT , the positive percent was (7676in hundred) , also antigen detected in fecal swabs using CFT with positive percent of (6984 in hundred) from 126 samples testedSerum samples was tested for testing Chlamydial antibodies using CF and ELISA tests with positive results (7176 in hundred) , (8823 in hundred) respectively from 170 samplesThe polypeptide profiles obtained by SDS - PAGE analysis of purified EBs from 18 isolates of Cpsittaci from ducks reveals 9 - 17 bands corresponding to molecular weights of 7121 and 24286 kDa
