This is a comparative study between sublingual and vaginal misoprostol for induction of labor in postterm pregnant patients with unfavourable cervix . This study was carried out in Elgalaa teaching hospital on 60 post term pregnant females who were divided into two groups group I included 30 pregnant females beyond 42 weeks gestation who will receive vaginal misoprostol in a dose of 25 ug to be repeated every 4 hours if no response is achieved with a maximum of 6 doses while group II included 30 pregnant females beyond 42 weeks gestation who will receive sublingual misoprostol in a does of 50 ug to be repeated every 4 hours if no response is achieved with a maximum of 6 doses
