Well differentiated thyroid carcinoma is the most common tumor of the thyroid gland , it's potentially curable disease Patients are treated usually by surgery followed by radioiodine according to their risk stratification The patients are given El - troxin as a replacement suppression therapy and stopped for 4 weeks before whole body scanning with radioiodine
