Mini - implants for "en masse" maxillary anterior teeth retraction : A clinical study / استخدام الغرسات الصغيرة لسحب الأسنان الأمامية العلوية كتلة واحدة للخلف : دراسة عملية Hanem Younes Elfeky ; Supervised Mohamed Amgad fatthy Kaddah , Manal Yehia Foda - Cairo : Hanem Younes Elfeky , 2009 - 142Leaves : charts , facsimiles ; 30cm
Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine - Department of Orthodontics
The aim of this study was to evaluate miniscrew implants as an orthodontic anchorage for en masse retraction of maxillary anterior teeth . Assessment of the dentoskeletal and soft tissue effects was carried out via orthodontic study models and lateral cephalometric views which had been taken prior to mini - screws loading and after eight months . There was no statistically significant anchorage loss with mini - implants in either horizontal (anteroposterior ) or vertical direction
