One hundred and forty marine bacterial isolates were collected of mediterranean and red sea, Egypt, including seawater, sediment, algae, coral and rhizosphere of mangrove. The antimicrobial activity of these strains was tested against eight microbial species namely Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus vulgaris, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterobacter cloacae, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis and candida albicans
