In this thesis, three HPC platforms will be presented as an infrastructure for heavy computational applications. The three platforms are cluster computing, grid computing and supercomputer. Two HPC platforms were built in electronic research institute (ERI), ERI cluster and a grid node EG-01ERI that joined EUMEDGrid global grid, beside the IBM blue gene/L supercomputer in National authority for remote sensing and space sciences in Cairo NARSS
