This research aims at understanding the meaning of architecture in the changing social and cultural context of Nubia in order to reach a methodology for evaluating the cotemporary architecture for communities with specific cultural patterns . The proposed methodolgy helps in decision making concerning the design of contemporary architecture for such traditional communities in addition it helps the architects in evaluating the new community to what extent has succeeded to fulfill the cultural dimensions of the Nubians
