Several polyamides have been prepared using aromatic diamine and phthaloyl chloride . The obtained polyamide was found to be brittle and hard to mold . In order to impart some flexibility and to lower the glass transition temperature of the wholly aromatic polyamides aliphatic amines have been introduced in the main polymer chain several rations
