Sjogren's syndrome is a chronic systemic autoimmune disease characterized by lymphocytic infiltration of the salivary and lacrimal glands resulting in dry mouth and dry eyes . In the diagnosis of Sjogren's syndrome an objective examination method is required because the subjective complaints of patients do not reflect the severity of the salivary gland affection
