In this thesis a new frame work of distributed speech recognition "DSR" over wireless fading channels is presented. Overall system simulation based on GSM-FR platform simulator is proposed to investigate the effect of speech coding on speech recognition tasks. The simulator was developed in order to model realistic radio transmission circumstances
