A study of some poverty measures using spatial regression analysis : Case study for Mauritania / دراسة لبعض مقاييس الفقر باستخدام تحليل الانحدار المكانى : دراسة حالة موريتانيا Mohamed Aly Oumar ; Supervised El-Houssainy Abdel Bar Rady , Ahmed Amin El-Sheikh - Cairo : Mohamed Aly Oumar , 2010 - 95 Leaves : charts ; 30cm
Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Institute of Statistical Studies and Research - Department of Statistics and Econometrics
Regression analysis depends on several assumptions that have to be satisfied. A major assumption that is never satisfied when variables are from contiguous observations is the independence of error terms. Spatial analysis treated the violation of that assumption by two derived models that put contiguity of observations into consideration
