The lower urinary tract functions may be affected by pelvic surgeries as there is a possibility to destroy the integrity of the pelvic plexus as well as sympathetic and parasympathetic nerves controlling bladder filling and voiding . This study was performed to assess the effects of total and subtotal abdominal hysterectomy on the lower urinary tract functions by urodynamic measures
