The present study has been carried out to detect the presence of low molecular weight bioactive compound (s) in the extract of some marine invertebrates collected from the Red Sea environmentThe crude extracts of the collected samples were subjected to different bioassay techniques such as mouse bioassay , brine shrimp , antimicrobial , antifungal , antiviral and Acetylcholine esterase inhibitionThe chemical studies of the Gyrostoma helianthus lead to isolation of two toxic fractions with two different modes of actionThe first toxic fraction inhibited the activity of Acetylcholine esterase and the second toxic fraction was k+potassium channel blockerThe bioactive compound (AchE inhibitor) was isolated in a pure form using HPLC and its chemical structure was elucidated using different spectroscopic techniquesThe toxicokinetics of the AchE inhibitor isolated bioactive compound was studie
