Biochemical study of soluble adhesion molecules as markers in breast cancer patients / دراسة كيميائية حيوية للجزيئات الذائبة الاصقة كدلالات لمرضى سرطان الثدى Mohammed Mohammed Amin Ahmed ; Supervised Sanaa Osman Abdullah , Ahmed Ebrahem Amin - Cairo : Mohammed Mohammed Amin Ahmed , 2011 - 163 P. : charts ; 25cm
Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Biochemistry
Breast cancer represent an important problem in women oncology . Increasing evdence suggests that VCAM - 1 and E - selectin contributes to tumour growth and metastasis , possibly by increasing angiogenesis and the adhesion of tumour cell to endothelial cells at distant sites . This study aimed to evaluate the increases in preoperative levels of circulating soluble VCAM - 1 and E - selectin in breast cancer patients
