The experimental work was conducted to compare the effect of low medium and high doses of either chemical or organic fertilizers along with supplementary feeding on water quality in rearing tanks and growth performances of Nile tilapia . Dissolved oxygen concentrations in organic fertilizer treatment (10.03 - 10.71 mg/L) were lower than those of chemical fertilizer treatments (10.22 - 12.38 mg/L)
