The aim of the current work was to evaluate the lipid groups of five Egyptian marine algae species , two from the Red Sea Rhodophyta , ( Laurencia popillose and Galaxoura cylindriea ) , and three from the Mediterranean sea ( Chlorophyta , Ulva fasciata ; and Phaeophyta , Dilophy fasciola and Taonia atomaria ) for their antiviral , anticancer , antioxidant and antimicrobial in vitro activities
