Diabetes mellitus is the most common medical complications of pregnancy which is freqently associated with altered fetal growth especially macrosomia which predisposes the fetus to chronic hypoxia. Human placental growth factor pregnancy and is supposed to be involved in regulation of availability of nutrients to the placenta. The aim of this study was to study the levels of PIGF in maternal serum and in cord serum and its correlation to glycemic control, fetal hypoxia and fetal birth weight
