Magnesium alloys considered one of the most promising materials for many future applications. The present work explores systematically the electrochemical and corrosion behavior of the die cast AZ91D alloy in aqucous media. The choice solution is sodium borate with various concentrations. The electrochemical techniques used were open circuit potential (OCP) transients, polarization curves and electrochemical impedance spectra EIS
