The aim of the study was to evaluate the total phenolics , antioxidant and hepatorenoprotective effects of Thymus Vulgaris and Calendula Officinalis extracts againts AFs - induced liver damage . Eight groups of male Sprague - Dawley rats were treated for 6 weeks included control ; group fed AFs - contaminated diet ( 2.5 mg / kg diet ) ; group with thyme extract ( 500 mg / kg P. O ) , group with calendula extract ( 500 mg / kg P. O )
