This study explored the effect of different shaped silicone insoles on reducing soft tissue strain (STS) and plantar pressure (PP) during standing. Soft tissue thickness was measured using ultrasound and PP was measured using in-shoe pressure insoles beneath the second and third metatarsal heads for four different conditions
