A two - dimensional compressible Navier - Stokes non - reactive flow code was constructedThe code was developed using various order of flux difference splitting technique (first or third) for the convective terms and second - order central difference for viscous termsUsing the upwind differencing makes the system of numerical equations diagonally dominantWith the use of implicit line - relaxation scheme , the code can be run at very large time steps , and very fast convergence is realizedDissipation was controlled to suppress any oscillations and avoid instability at the high gradient regions as the shock location
