The effect of the biochemopreventive therapy (INFÜ and retinoids) on oral premalignant lesions and its relation to the expression of p53 protein pre- and post- treatment : A clinical and immunohistochemical study / قبل و بعد العلاج P53 تأثير العلاج الكيموبيولوجى الوقائي (الانترفيرون الفا و الرتينويد) على الحالات ما قبل السرطانية الفموية و علاقته بظهور بروتين: دراسة اكلينيكية و هستوكيمائية Shaymaa Moustafa Hassan ; Supervised Nagwa Othman , Weam Ahmed Rashwan - Cairo : Shaymaa Moustafa Hassan , 2012 - 135 Leaves : charts , photographs ; 30cm
Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine - Department of Periodontology
The results of the present study revealed very low immunoreactions for substance P in normal oral epithelium. As regards oral lichen planus specimens in group II, both erosive and atrophic variants showed more intense immunoreactions than papular variant. The mean epithelial thickness in a descending manner was higher in the papular oral lichen planus, then the control group, the atrophic oral lichen planus and the least the erosive form
Immunohistochemistry Oral lichen planus Substance P
