Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Agriculture - Department of Agricultural Biochemistry
The effect of low and high calcium (Ca), sodium (Na) intake, and date palm pollen grains on some serum vitamins and minerals concentration, biochemical changes, tissue lipid peroxidation and tissue histopathology of rats were evaluated. Forty nine adult male Wister albino rats were adapted on the basal diet for one week and then divided into 7 groups and fed on (i) a standard (0.5% Ca and 0.1% Na, basal diet), (ii) low Ca diet (0.10% Ca with normal Na), (iii) high Ca diet 1.5% Ca with normal Na
