Objective : To compare the efficacy of rectally administered misopostol with intravenous oxytocin infusion in decreasing the amount of blood loss during and after cesarean section. Conclusion : Rectal misoprostol appears to be an effective alternative intravenous oxytocin in preventing blood loss for routine use during cesarean section
