Boric acid, an essential plant micronutrient, occurs naturally in fruits, vegetable, and other foods. It is widely used in the manufacture of glass, ceramics and other products. The aim of this study was to evaluate the developmental effects of boric acid on pregnant rats and their fetuses. Pregnant white albino rats (Rattus norvegicus) were administrated oral doses 514, 257, 128, 51mg/kg of boric acid, from 7th to 16th day and from 1st to 20th day of gestation
