A series of cationic schiff base surfactants (SB8, SB12, SB16 and SB18) prepared and the surface parameters of them determined at 25C and the zinc complexes of these surfactants are prepared the prepared surfactants and their complexes are investigated using elemental analysis, infrared (FTIR), ¹H-NMR spectroscopy. Colloidal solutions of silver (AgNPs) and zinc oxide nanoparticles self-assembled with the cationic surfactants were prepared and investigated using UV-Vis. infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and transmission electron microscope TEM
