Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) , a common medical complication of pregnancy , is defined as any degree of glucose intolerance with onset or first recognition during pregnancy . GDM affects 7% of all pregnancies ; so , the aim of this study was to assess the impact of gestational diabetes on maternal and neonatal outcome .
