This research intends to investigate the effect of soil - structure interaction on dynamic properties and straining actions on building . This investigation is done through analyses of free vibration and seismic response of soil - structure interaction systems . These analyses are effectively done using OPENSEES program which is developed based on finite element simulations . The analyses are divided into two parts in this study
