Aim : To evaluate RIZ 1(retinoblastoma interacting zinc finger gene) and RIZ 2 genes in hepatocellular carcinoma and wether they ara considered risk factors or associate with the disease . Results : No changes in RIz 2 expression among groups . Cases of HCC had lower frequency in expression of RIz 1 compared to controls with statistically significant difference . The negative expression RIz 1 in cases and controls showed higher level of homocysteine compared to the positive expression with high significant difference
