Hepatic blood flow in systemic inflammatory response syndrome, sepsis, and severe sepsis in ICU patients / دراسة بحثية فى تدفق الدم للكبد فى حالة خمج الدم فى مرضى العناية المركزة Fayrouz Shokry Wahba ; Supervised Amany A. Maqsoud Sholkamy , Abir Zakaria Mohammad - Cairo : Fayrouz Shokry Wahba , 2013 - 116 Leaves : charts ; 25cm
Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Internal Medicine
The potential effect of clinical sepsis on hepatic blood flow values and its relation with the outcome of the patient was varied in many studies. In our study, THBF was nearly the same in both sepsis and sever sepsis groups but decreased than the normal group. While in the SIRS group it is severely decreased. HABF was found to be the highest in the sepsis group followed by sever sepsis, normal and SIRS groups
Doppler Liver Ultrasonography
