A major prerequisite for balance and coordinate extremity use in daily functional activities is proximal trunk stability. The aims of this study were to evaluate trunk control in chronic stroke patients, to determine to what extent it affect balance abilities and functional performance of those patients, to recognize which subscale of trunk impairment scale is the best indicator of patients balance and functional abilities and to assess the effect of balance impairment on the functional abilities of those patients
