Alkaline basaltic rocks from Harrat Kishb 200 km north Jeddah city Saudi Arabia and ceramic waste materials rich in Si, Al and Na were utilized to obtain glass ceramic materials. Six base glass batches were studied from these basaltic rocks and ceramic waste materials . The compositions studied were designates G0, G10, G20, G30, G40, and G50, where the number indicated the wt% content of ceramic waste component and the rest being basaltic rocks
