Prediction of preeclampsia by the combined use of early second trimester maternal serum histidine-rich glycoprotein and uterine artery doppler velocimetry / التنبؤ بحدوث إرتفاع ضغط الدم الناتج عن الحمل باستخدام قياس مستوى الجليكوبروتين الغنى بالهستدين فى مصل الأم بالإضافة الى قياس تدفق الدم فى الشريان الرحمى فى اوائل الثلث الثانى من الحمل Soad Faraj Mohammed Dadoosh ; Supervised Manal Hamdy Elsaid , Nagwa Abdelghaffar Mohammed , Yasmin Ahmed Bassiouny - Cairo : Soad Faraj Mohammed Dadoosh , 2013 - 139 P. : charts , facsimiles ; 25cm

Background: Preeclampsia is associated with both maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. Histidine-rich glycoprotein (HRG) is a protein interacting with angiogenesis, coagulation, and inflammatory responses, processes known to be altered in preeclamptic pregnancies. Significantly lower levels of HRG have been demonstrated as early as in the first trimester in women later developing preeclampsia compared with normal pregnancies.
