The experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of hot water, as post cold storage treatments (13C and 80:90% RH) and hot water and modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) as pre cold storage treatments (5- 7 C and 80:90% RH) on physical and chemical properties during cold storage and shelf life. Pre and post cold storage treatments revealed a gradual increase in weight loss and dry matter content, decrease in general appearance score and starch contents with the storage prolongation
