The plays are I Cant remember anything, Clara, Broken Glass and Mr. Peters connections. Deals with Gadamers notion of hermeneutical understanding. It applies the theory of hermeneutics to the chosen plays and tracks Millers characters reaching a hermeneutic perception. Unveils Riffaterres structural matrix, or in other words the deepest layer of sense reached by a competent reader. Like the reader, Millers folks shall embark on a symbolic journey to uncover the matrices of their existence. Just as the reader shapes the significance of a text, the text unquestionably influences him as well. Shall endeavor to trace the effects of the reading process on the reader
