Background Polyneuropathy affecting approximately 30-50% of all diabetic patients and is the most common form of neuropathy in the developed world This review was to provide evidence based practice of physical therapy interventions for Peripheral Neuropathy in Diabetic Type 2 Patients. Results: Search results were presented in different types of exercise training usually used as management of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy by physical therapist "Aerobic Exercise, Aerobic Exercise and Resistance Exercise, balance exercise, Weight-Bearing and Non Weight-Bearing Exercise, Tai Chi Exercise, Multimodal Exercise''. The Levels of Evidence the Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN), were used to detect the level of evidence behind interventions for each exercise for the purpose of comparison and discussion. Conclusion: From this review a series of clinical and research recommendations were driven to optimize the physical therapy adjacent management. Aerobic Exercise is the best type of exercise to prevent or delayed Peripheral Neuropathy in Diabetic Type 2 patients, while Circuit Weight Exercise is the best type of exercise to strength all muscles of the body.
