New ion selective electrodes for determination of copper (II) Ions / أقطاب أيونية إنتقائية جديدة لتقدير أيونات النحاس الثنائية Hebatallah Sherief Foad Hassan ; Supervised Yousry M. Issa , Ahmed Fahmy A. Youssef , Ola R. Shehab - Cairo : Hebat Allah Sherief Foad Hassan , 2015 - 101 P. : charts , facsimiles ; 25cm
Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Analytical Chemistry
This work has been carried out to present and characterize new chemically modified carbon paste electrodes which are based on recently synthesized three Ion-associates including copper-cefazolin (Cu-CFZ), copper-thimerosal (Cu-TM), and copper- sulphadimidine (Cu-SD) for determination of copper ions. The performance characteristics of these electrodes were studied in terms of slope, linear Nernstian range, detection limit, response time, usable pH range, working temperature range, soaking in pure solutions and when hanging in air. The effect of interfering ions was studied by applying matched potential method. Each electrode was applied for potentiometric determination of copper ions in pure solutions, different water samples and real samples (such as Milk and Tea). The electrodes were successfully applied as indicator electrodes for potentiometric titration of copper with EDTA titrant
Chemically modified carbon paste electrode (CMCPE) Copper ISE
