The aim of this study was to assess the effect of the ceramir C and B (C1) and relyX unicem (C2) cements on the push out bond strength of the smooth (P1) and serrated (P2) Kleer fiber posts when restoring endodontic treated teeth. A total of forty human intact single rooted upper central incisors were collected and endodontically treated. The endodontically treated roots were randomly divided in to two equal groups (n = 20) according to the cement type (C1 and C2); each group was further subdivided into to equal subgroups (n = 10) according to the kleer fiber post type (P1 and P2). Each sample was segmented into three segments at different root levels and subjected to the push out test. The results of the serrated post showed that the RelyX Unicem cement recorded statistically significant higher mean values than the ceramir C and B at the coronal, middle as well as apical levels, while no statistical significant difference was noted between the two cements at any root level for the smooth post. It was also noted that the highest mean push-out bond strength values were obtained at the cervical root level for all subgroups. It was concluded that relyX unicem self adhesive resin cement is more appropriate than ceramir C and B in terms of bond strength, serrated kleer 4X fiber post performed better than smooth kleer 4X fiber post in terms of bond strength and that better retention of glass fiber reinforced posts is achievable in coronal regions of root canals compared to middle and apical regions
